Uniforms,mandatory or not in public schools?

S hould uniforms be mandatory or not in public schools? It is a question that has been brought up constantly in debates for many years. My opinion yes, they should. Here are some reasons why. I n one of the first studies on this topic, a random school was chosen and mandatory uniforms were introduced. This school was located in Long Beach, California . During the experiment, there was a astonishing drop of the crime and behavioral problems in the school. The results were: assault dropped by sixty-seven percent, vandalism by eighty-two and robbery by thirty-five percent. Overall crime was reduced by seventy-three percent during the first year that uniforms were mandatory. All around the results were good. Uniforms also have an economical advantage as well. One entire uniform is around the same cost as a one pair of designer jeans. A lso it has become apparent that if a child in a school that does not have uniforms isn't wearing the latest fashion, that student gets mocked and humiliated at times. That is part of the reason why uniforms should be put in affect in aggressive and violent public schools. Another study has shown that uniforms not only suppresses bad behavior, but also stimulate educational brain waves. There for helping kids in need of a grade boost. Uniforms are a must in all schools. Uniforms are a very useful tool in the educational system. U niforms also have safety advantages too. For example, if the whole entire student body is wearing uniforms, it will be easier for the faculty to spot outsiders and throw them out. If uniforms were worn there would be no inapproiate clothing. Uniforms can also be used to get publicity for the school the uniforms represent. A smart way to get more students. Useful for the school to get money to enhance the school . T hese are the facts that support my opinion . This is why uniforms should be made mandatory in public schools.
